Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS:

You can book direct with us from our website, e-mail, and by phone to 1.415.228.9865 to get correct cost, itineraries, availability and any specific request or talk to your travel agent. To secure hotel accommodations we suggest that you should complete your travel plans as early as possible. We do our utmost to accommodate last minute bookings, subject only to space on the tours and at the hotels. 

TRANSPORTATION:

Trips consist of transportation by AMTRAK train, vans, sedan cars, or motor coaches as detailed in the itineraries. Seats are not preassigned but there is enough seating confirmed capacity. Transportation is provided by companies under contract to us. They are fully licensed by California Public Utility Commission. They carry required insurance and comply with USDOT and CHP safety requirements.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

Hotel for overnight trips are listed in the itineraries. At times for reasons beyond our control we may have to substitute hotels.

MEALS:

None of the trips include meals. Most of the hotels have very good dining rooms and surrounding areas have a good choice of restaurants.

TRIPLE ROOMS AND CHILDREN:

Hotel rooms are not available for three adults for safety reasons. They can only be used for one or two adults and one or two children under 21 years. 

SMOKING:

By law smoking is not permitted in public areas, hotels and restaurants.

PAYMENT: 

After we receive your request, an invoice for full payment will be sent by PayPal or Stripe payment system. This is due immediately. If for any reason we can not confirm the reservation the charge will be credited back to your account immediately. We accept major credit cards shown below process by PayPal, Stripe, Venmo or bank transfer.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:

If you cancel a tour and need a refund, your deposit or payment will be refunded after deduction of the bank transaction fees and following charges:

1. Yosemite overnight tours staying inside the National Park (Yosemite Valley Lodge, The Ahwahnee Hotel) :

A). Up to 46 days prior to the tour date – $50 per person or 10% of the total amount paid, whichever is higher

B). 45 to 3 days prior to tour date – 75% of the tour cost

C). Less than 48 hours – No refund

2. Other overnight tours (Yosemite View Lodge and etc) :

A). Up to 21 days prior to the tour date – $50 per person or 10% of the total amount paid, whichever is higher

B). 20 to 3 days prior to tour date – 75% of the tour cost

C). Less than 48 hours – No refund

3. Yosemite one day trip and Transportation only :

1. Transportation costs:

A). Up to 48 hours before the departure time refund will be 75% of the amount paid.

B). Less than 48 to 24 hours before departure time refund will be 50% of the amount paid.

C). Less than 24 hours and no show will be No refund.

2. Hotel and other costs vary and refunds etc will depend on each component. to 24 hours before the departure time refund will be 50% of the amount paid.

4. One day charter for Napa, Silicon Valley, and One day Monterey & Big Sur Tour etc:

A). Up to 24 hours before the departure time refund will be amount paid minus $100

B). Less than 24 hours and no show – No refund

5. Other one day tours: (Alcatraz, Bay Cruise tickets are non refundable)

A). Up to 24 hours before the departure time refund will be 90% of the amount paid.

B). Less than 24 hours and no show – No refund

6. California Pacific Excursions reserves the right to cancel trips

If we cancel (except in case of reasons beyond control, such as natural disasters,, etc.) with less than 28 days’ notice and full payment has been received the refund will be 90% of the total amount you paid.  If for any reason you leave the trip after it starts there is no refund.

OUR CONTRACT:

Contractual sale includes transportation, admission costs, hotel rooms with tax, baggage space on train and bus for overnight trips and our fees for coordination of necessary details.  It is our intention to deliver these services.  If we fail to do so you are entitled to a refund only for the actual value of undelivered trip components or service.  We are not responsible for delays that may occur and there is no compensation for time lost, etc. By Law trips are operated by transportation companies with appropriate legal authority and insurance.  We act as your agents to book transportation, hotels and other components of the trip.  We can not be held responsible or liable in any way for loss, injury or damage to person or property for those services. If there are adverse conditions along the route, we reserve the right to bypass such areas.  We may decline the sale of the trip or retain any person as a participant at any time.
