Berkeley Oakland Private Charter

Private Charter visits Berkeley and Oakland to explore California history, arts and culture.

The East Bay is the eastern region of the San Francisco Bay Area and includes cities along the eastern shores of the San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay. The region has grown to include inland communities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. With a population of roughly 2.5 million in 2010, it is the most populous subregion in the Bay Area. Oakland is the largest city in the East Bay and the third largest in the Bay Area. The city serves as a major transportation hub for the U.S. West Coast, and its port is the largest in Northern California. – From Wikipedia.

This private charter can take you to places such as Treasure Island, Pixar Animation Studios, UC Berkeley Campus with Redwoods trees, Oakland Museum of California, Jack London Square, Berkeley’ BAMPFA, Blue Bottle coffee headquarters, Tartine Bakery, Amoeba Records, Telegraph Avenue, Metallica Mansion in El Cerrito, Tesla factory in Fremont many places of your choice.

With a chauffeured car, you can go at your own pace and spend as much time as you like. There is no need to worry about which routes to take or driving around seeking for parking, rest stops, or waiting on the street for an Uber driver who just happens to be nearby. These trips are not on a large vehicle with many participants, fixed timed stops. Just you and your family or friends. This is a safe and comfortable way to explore. Let us know where you would like to visit in San Francisco East Bay. Because this is a private tour, it is much easier to make stops as needed.

Charter cost start from $80 an hour for 1 to 4 people minimus 5 hours~

Cost includes hotel pick up and drop off and tax. Oakland Bay Bridge Toll is not included.

Please note that it takes at least 30 minutes each way to go to the East Bay from the San Francisco Downtown hotels across the Bay Bridge, so 5 hours equals 4 hours in the East Bay. However, the scenery crossing the Oakland Bay Bridge is spectacular!

Emeryville – 21 miles from San Francisco International Airport offers decent accommodations near the Amtrak Station and Bay Street where they have a lot of shops and restaurants, and it’s a convenient location to go to San Francisco sightseeing, Napa Valley, Yosemite by San Joaquin Train, or go to Big Sur and Monterey, then to Los Angeles by Coast Starlight Train. We recommend the following five Emeryville hotels near Bay Street:

  • Hyatt House – 5800 Shellmond St.
  • Hyatt Place – 5700 Bay St.
  • Hilton Garden Hotel – 1800 Powell St.
  • Four Points by Sheraton – 1603 Powell St
  • Sonesta Hotel – 5555 Shellmound St.

One day trip to Big Sur and Monterey from Pacifica – Single

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on Trip Advisor / The Perfect Day

I booked this day trip which I would very much recommend if you would like to see the views and have someone else drive or if you don’t have a car. It is also a busy and confusing area where you need a car and Carlos the driver knows all the destinations and where to park. It was a very long twelve hour day and I packed in a lot. McVey falls, Big Sur Pfeiffer State Park, Pebble Beach gift shop and most of 17 mile drive as well as sections of Monterey and Carmel. My advice is to check the weather in advance and choose a good day. Also carefully decide what to do in advance and discuss it all with Ben the tour operator because he will indicate the timing and other details. Ben phoned me a few hours after booking and this made all the difference because I could tailor make my day. There is far too much to do in one day on this tour so choose what’s most important to you and what to do when there. For instance, the Pfeiffer falls trail at Big Sur takes about an hour or less and was a good option but I only discovered that at the park after asking around. Monterey and Carmel are so beautiful I was stunned but hadn’t scheduled in any stops there but Carlos is so accommodating and patient. I could just ask him when to stop and saw the dolphins clearly in Monterey, whales breaching along the Pacific coast, deer grazing on the fairways of seventeen mile drive and felt the silky sand at Carmel. Quick tour of CA Coast: Pfeiffer Beach and having lunch at the pebble beach clubhouse were definitely the highlights. Carlos took us all up and down highway one past the Bixby Bridge. We did 17 mile drive and saw Carmel. We loved it! It was a one day trip from SF. I would recommend a few days in Big Sur and Carmel, but if you only have one day, this works well! Cathy – MS, USA

4 days 3 nights from Los Angeles to Monterey and Big Sur Private trip staying in Carmel – 2 people

The arrangement for this trip were excellent, and a pleasure working with Ben. The assistance provided to make sure it was flawless was truly appreciated. The trip was great and relaxing. Having the additional day open to spend at our leisure, was well worth the added expense. (1 additional night stay). Upgrading the Train to Business Class on the Surfliner and the Roomette on the Starlight, along with the King Suite at the Pine Inn was wonderful. We can not say enough about our driver Carlos. This gentleman made our trip outstanding! His professionalism, friendliness, kindness, and knowledge of the area was priceless. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Thank you all for an amazing experience. T.E – Los Angeles CA, USA

Thank you very much. I enjoyed very much. The bus to San Francisco was fine. The return bus departed at 16:00 when it was supposed to depart at 15:00 but I contacted the bus company so it worked out all fine. If you don’t speak English, it may be a little difficult. Yesterday, I went to the Vernal Falls. It was very beautiful. I didn’t pay for WiFi at Yosemite View Lodge so I enjoyed life without internet for the first time in a long time which was very nice.
